3 Fire Departments Dispatched to Structure Fire Sunday Afternoon

The Tuckers Chapel, Leesburg, and Sand Rock Fire Departments were all dispatched to a structure fire on County Road 401 Sunday afternoon.

According to Leesburg Fire Chief Joe Sonaty the structure was already on the ground when fire units arrived on the scene.

The blaze was brought under control quickly – but, the fire had spread to grass and woods, with a total of approximately two acres being on fire at one point in time.

The blaze remains under investigation.
