One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Etowah County, early on Saturday afternoon. According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville, the wreck took place on Mayo Road at 1:43pm and involved a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The operator – a male from Altoona – was taken by ambulance to an area trauma center – no additional information has yet been released.
