In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

KRISTA CRANE – age 28 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on both – a Probation Revocation/ Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and for Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

MATTHEW BERNARD – 39 of Oneonta – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear;

MARY BUTTS, age 41 of Rome Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on 19 counts of Failure to Appear;

And

BRANDON MATTHEWS – age 42 from Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear/the Contempt of Court and Traffic Laws.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 96 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
