Weiss Electric and Plumbing Supply held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location, Thursday, at 930 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.

Rob and Cindy Carter are the owners. They bought the business 4 years ago. Weiss Electric and Plumbing Supply has been in business for 42 years.

They continue to offer a full line of electrical and plumbing supplies, plumbing fixtures, electrical poles with breaker boxes for mobile homes, fill propane cylinders, and now they are bringing in Valspar Paint.

Rob Carter also stressed customer service is key. He, and his employees were wearing-shirts that read “Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is, Buy Local.”

Weiss Electric and Plumbing Supply employs 9 people. Their hours ate M-F 7:00-4:30 and Saturday 7:00-12:00pm.
