CENTRE – Anna Walker went 3-for-4 with a run and Audrey Haygood was 2-for-3 with a triple, a run and two RBIs in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors past Oneonta 6-1 in softball action on Thursday.
Lanie Williams, Emma Hill and Grayson Tucker each contributed a hit and a run for the Lady Warriors. Tucker also had two RBIs. Abby Lea finished with a hit.
Tucker tallied the win in the circle. She worked four innings and gave up one earned run on four hits with no walks and four strikeouts. Hill tossed three innings of no-hit ball with a walk and nine strikeouts.
