In the Cherokee County arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

ERIC MOTES, age 48 from Leesburg was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on the charges of Failure to Appear on Driving Under the Influence, and also Failure to Appear (two counts) on charges of Driving While Revoked, and he was charged with Running a Red Light;

And

ROBERT FARRIS, age 53 from Gaylesville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 93 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
