In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

LAURISSA ABERNATHY, age 44 from Albertville – arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Retail Theft/3rd Degree;

TIMOTHY FRAZIER, age 37 from Lapine, Alabama – arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, on the charges of Transmitting Obscene Material to a Child;

And

JOHN HOOD, age 31 of Albertville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Obstructing Justice/False ID.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 92 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
