In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JOSEPH HUNTER, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Attempted Murder;

JOSHUA WILLIAMS, 20 from Cedartown arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on Grand Jury Indictments – for two counts of Criminally Negligent Homicide, and also with Grand Jury Indictment for Assault 3rd Degree;

SUSAN JOHNSTON, age 50 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

And

JEREMY HINES, age 42 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Attempting to Elude.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 91 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
