Joseph Hunter Now In Custody
The man wanted in connection with a shooting incident Saturday night in Cherokee County has been taken into custody at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, according to Chief Deputy Josh Summerford.
The shooting erupted during a dispute between Hunter and the victim who was transported to a local hospital for non life threatening injuries.
Hunter left the scene before law enforcement officers arrived on the scene. He was wanted for attempted murder.
Late this afternoon, (Monday) he was being booked into the County Detention Center.
