A driver was taken to a Huntsville-area hospital – shortly after midnight (on Saturday morning) after swerving to avoid a deer in the roadway.
The accident took place in DeKalb County on County Road 56, involving a 1995 Chevy C-1500 Truck, being driven by a male resident of Collinsville After trying to avoid the deer, his vehicle left the road – and then struck a tree.
