In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
WAYLON EPPS, 43 from Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Attempting to Elude;
WENDY PIRKLE, age 59 of Fruithurst, Alabama was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;
CLINTON DOBBS, age 44 from Fort Payne – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation, and with two counts of Failure to Appear;
TREVOR HENSON, age 34 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Alabama Board of Pardons and Parole on charges of – the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Probation Violation;
ANGEL SLAYTON, age 39 from Gaylesville was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department and charged with two counts of Failure to Appear;
JOSHUA BERRONG, age 40 of Dallas, Georgia – arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing/Attempt to Elude, Resisting Arrest and Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree;
And
JEYSON RICARDO RODRIGUES – age 36 from Centre – was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Assault 3rd Degree.
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Currently, there are 101 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
