JACKSONVILLE – The Spring Garden Lady Panthers pounded out 18 hits in a 10-0 softball win in five innings at Jacksonville Christian on Tuesday.

Avery Steward led the Lady Panthers with a 4-for-4 performance at the plate, including a double. She also scored two runs and drove in two.

Lilly McCain went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run and three RBIs. Helena Ingram and Maggie Jarrett were also 3-for-4. Helena Ingram tripled, scored twice and drove in a run. Jarrett doubled and had two RBIs.

Rylie Ham and Layla Ingram were both 2-for-3 with a run. Ham also had a RBI. Layla Ingram had a double and drew a walk. Maggie Reedy added a hit, a run and a RBI. Lleyton Carroll and Hayden Parris both scored a run.

Steward picked up the win. She went the distance, surrendering just two hits, no runs and no walks with nine strikeouts.
