North Georgia Man Accused of Spraying Chemicals in Woman’s Face
A Rome, Georgia man faces a felony Aggravated Assault charge, following his arrest late last week (Thursday). According to Floyd County Jail records: William Martin Hudgins, age 37 – was involved in a physical altercation with a woman at his Hatfield Road apartment. He sprayed the victim in the face, with an unknown chemical agent, resulting in severe skin irritation and temporary blindness.
He then fled on foot, as officers were speaking with the victim, resulting in additional units and a K-9 being brought in to track him down. Hudgins was additionally charged with Obstruction of Officers.
