One person lost their life in an auto accident on Friday in Etowah County.
Alabama State Troopers reported that a single-vehicle crash occurred at 12:20pm, involving a 2004 Nissan, during a thunderstorm. That vehicle left the roadway and overturned – fatally injuring the driver – identified as 35 year old Ashley Higginbotham of Steele.
That wreck currently remains under investigation.
