$48,300 for the Axon Taser’s Come from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs

The Cherokee County Commission will use new funds to purchase of Axon Tasers. This will allow the Cherokee County Sheriff’s to have less-lethal devices which save lives of law of law enforcement and other individuals.

The funds of $ 48,300 for the taser’s come from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, where Kenneth W. Boswell serves as Director.

The announcement comes from Andrew Jones, who serves as a Republican member of the Alabama Senate for the 10th District who notified WEIS Radio News.
