In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

BARBARA BROWN, 67 of Cordova, California – placed under arrest by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with (DUI) Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance;

CHRISTOPHER PRUITT, age 40 from Rome, Georgia – was arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety, charged with Attempting to Elude;

And

JOSHUA CLIFTON, age 43 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 90 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
