A two-vehicle accident just after 12:00 noon in Etowah County – sent one person to an area-hospital for treatment on Monday.
According to Alabama State Trooper information – a 2005 Mazda Tribute being driven by a female from Albertville, clipped the rear-end, of a 1989 Chevy C-3500 – and then left the roadway, and crashed; the driver had to carried to Riverview Regional Medical Center afterwards for treatment – meanwhile, the driver of the pickup – a male from Gadsden – was unhurt.
The wreck, which occurred at 12:25pm on Alabama Highway 77 remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
