Mr Herman Michael King
4/8/1945-3/4/2024
Michael was a husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, friend and a proud veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sylvia Naugher King; daughter, April Michelle (Eric) Helms; son, Michael Shane (Meredith) King; grandchildren, Taylor (Sarah) King, Collin King, Carson King, Seth Helms; brother, Jerry (Darlene) King; sister-in-law, Mary King; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Gina Gamardo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Beulah Haggard King; brother Charlie Paul King; sister and brother-in-law, Nellie Jo and Lee Espin.
He served his country in Vietnam and was a proud Veteran. He was an electrician. He was of the Baptist faith. A few months back he wrote this, “If you believe in God Almighty and have faith and Pride in Jesus Christ you will be a winner. The price of Eternal Life is high, but so are the rewards.”
The family wants to thank Gentiva Hospice for their help and support and also friends and family.
A private graveside service for immediate friends and family will be held at Cherokee Memory Gardens.
