In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

ALISHA TIDWELL, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Non-Support;

BRENDA SEABOLT, 66 from Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Failure to Appear on previous charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

TRUITT ALFORD, age 48 of Centre – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, on the charges of Failure to Appear on previous charges of: Insurance Violation, a violation of Reasonable and Prudent Speed Laws, and a Violation of the Open Container Law;

And

DYRISHA MCKNIGHT – 33 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft of Property 4th Degree – also Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 93 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
