Man Admits to Meth Possession during Traffic Stop
A 28-year-old in Chattooga County, Georgia, was arrested and jailed after admitting to police that he was in possession of methamphetamine.
According to reports from the Summerville Police Department – a pair of officers were on a joint patrol when they conducted a traffic stop; during the course of questioning the driver admitted he didn’t have a license. After obtaining consent to search – those police officers found suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe on Daniel Renegade Laney. Laney later admitted that the substance found was methamphetamine.
Laney was charged with the Possession/Use of Drug Related Objects, and the Possession of Methamphetamine, and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
