A 32-year-old Summerville, Georgia woman was arrested, and taken into custody by Summerville Police on drug charges after a recent traffic stop near Economy Pharmacy. 

According to a just-released report Amber Dawn Bryant was a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over, and while speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the officer noticed signs of impairment in Bryant – and asked the driver for consent to search the vehicle. 

Officers found a pocketbook with suspected methamphetamine and with drug-related objects.  Bryant said the pocketbook was in her possession, but she was returning it to someone else. 

She was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine – and Possession of Drug Related Objects and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
