In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

GREGORY HIGGINS, age 48 of Centre – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on a charge of Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ANGELA ROCHESTER, age 52 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation;

GUY MARLER, age 54 of Oxford, was arrested by Centre Police on charges of Failure to Appear/Driving while Suspended;

TIMOTHY DYER, age 32 of Remlap, AL – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of:  three counts of the Distribution of Obscene Material;

GEORGE MILLER, age 31 from Leesburg arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

REBECCA NORWOOD, age 56 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

DESTIN BROCK age 32 from Rome, GA – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 97 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
