Waste Management, the solid waste company servicing Cherokee County now has a dedicated customer experience agent located in the County. That person can be reached at 256-792-6004 to answer questions about the solid waste services.

In the coming weeks, WM will be removing old containers and replacing them with new containers. During this transition, we ask that you leave your old containers curbside following service so WM can remove them.

For customers that have their service day on Monday or Tuesday, Waste Management  will be removing your old containers on Friday, February 23, 2024.

If your service day is on Wednesday, Waste Management will be removing your old containers on Friday, March 1, 2024.

If your service day is on Thursday or Friday, Waste Management will be removing  your old containers on Friday, March 8, 2024.
