Two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in DeKalb County late Thursday Afternoon.

According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville – the crash took place at 5:00pm on Alabama Highway 68 and involved two vehicles – a 2013 Chevy 2500 and a 2008 Chevy Silverado.  According to the accident report, the male driving the 2500 – was unhurt in the wreck while both the driver and a passenger in the Silverado – two males from Dawson – were injured in the crash.   Afterwards – both injured parties were taken to Marshall Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of that wreck remains under investigation.
