In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

JUSTIN SMITH, age 28 of Centre was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Failure to Appear on previous counts of No Insurance and also he was charged with Drivers License Not in Possession;

And

TONY PIERCE, 57 from Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Failure to Appear/Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
