Cave Spring, Georgia Woman Accused of Providing Firearm to Convicted Felon

A Cave Spring, Georgia woman is accused of providing a firearm to a man who is a convicted felon

According to Floyd County Jail records – 31 year old Autumn Starr Floyd purchased a Smith & Wesson 659 – and then gave it to 31 year old Joseph Ray Turley of Rome, who she knew had been convicted of a felony.  The firearm was found inside of Turley’s vehicle, in the parking lot of the Rome Probation Office.

Floyd is charged with a felony count of knowingly providing a firearm to a felony first offender, probationer, or convicted felon.   Turley is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and a probation violation.
