Three Killed in Car Crash After Plunge into Ravine

Three people were found dead Saturday – after their car had apparently veered off of the road – and then plunged approximately 100 feet down a ravine and become partially submerged in an Alabama creek.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said the three victims were identified as Majhae Lalley, 35, of Boaz; Cory Shane Roper, 46, of Hayden; and Michael Adrian Russell, age 36, of Warrior.  The three were found in the car in Turkey Creek – by the property owner midday on Saturday.  Officials say they’re not sure just when the accident actually happened.  Investigators said they believe that the car may have struck the bridge and then rolled down the ravine.

All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
