There was a single-vehicle accident Monday morning at around 11:30 on the Chesnut Bypass near Jack’s Restaurant in Centre.

Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle and a passenger were unhurt after apparently hydro-planning – due to heavy rainfall on the wet roadway – before coming to rest in a ditch by the roadside.

Luckily, it appeared that no one was injured in the mishap and we’ll have more as reports are made available.
