In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

BILLY TURNER, age 31 from Gaylesville arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on previous charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree/Harassing Communications;

GUNNER PATTON, age 30 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Revoked Bond – and Failure to Appear/the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

DEWAYNE STANSELL, age 62 from Calhoun, Georgia, was arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety on the charge of Driving Under the Influence/Alcohol;

SHANDA SUTTON, age 57 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of Assault 3rd Degree and Menacing

HEATH POLLARD, age 32 of Centre – No Charges Listed.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
