ALPINE – In a battle of top 10 Class 1A girls basketball teams, sixth-ranked Winterboro got the best of No. 8 Cedar Bluff 59-17 in sub-regional basketball action on Friday.
Za’Niya Kyle led the Lady Tigers eight points and two steals. Janaya Higgins added six points, two rebounds and two steals. Kylie Vadon pulled down seven rebounds.
The Lady Tigers finished the season at 20-12.
