In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

WILLIAM PHILLIPS, Age 46 of Altoona, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Failure to Appear on the previous charges of – the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving while Suspended – and also Theft of Property 4th Degree;

JAMES FISHER, age 31 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear (two counts);

And

JUSTIN LAMBERT, age 33 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with a Conditional Release Violation (three counts).

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 84 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
