Rome Man Facing Charges Involving “Inappropriate On-Line Communications”

A Rome, Georgia man is facing charges, involving:  “inappropriate on-line communications” with someone which he thought to be a child under the age of 16.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 34 year old Ronald T.J. Adams Jr. sent lewd pictures of himself and also asked for nude pictures in return.  He then asked the person to meet up for “sex acts” and was then arrested when he showed up to meet that “child.”

Adams is charged with the criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of children, furnishing obscene materials to a minor, also using a computer to entice a child and a probation violation.
