A 28 year old from Rome, Georgia – Tessa Cheyanne Hughes – was placed under arrest recently after reports said that she struck a child in the face with a closed hand, leaving a mark under her eye. The incident occurred near Smith and Berry Ferry Road in Rome back on January 16th.
Reports added that she then hit a second child in the face.
Hughes is charged with battery, cruelty to children in the 1st degree, and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
