In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

NICHOLAS MARBUT, age 39 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of a Court Order;

JANSSEN JORDAN, age 50 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear on the previous charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and Domestic Violence/Strangulation;

JOSEPH LEE, age 71 of Gaylesville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on three counts of Failure to Appear;

And

WAYNE POOLE, age 49 of Piedmont was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear for an Expired Tag – also,  for the Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Driver’s License Not In Possession.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are a total of 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
