From the the National Weather Service in Birmingham:

Pockets of rainfall continue across portions of Central Alabama this morning. A loosely organized line of thunderstorms will move in across the west by midday and continue eastward through the afternoon. The threat is low, but a few of the storms could become strong to severe, capable of producing damaging straight-line winds or a brief tornado.
