GADSDEN – John Welsh netted 19 points and Jake Welsh added 14 in leading the Spring Garden Panthers to a 49-31 area basketball win at Coosa Christian on Tuesday.
Noah Barber finished with seven points for the Panthers (19-3).
Kylen Johnson topped the Conquerors with 15 points. DJ Mackey finished with six points.
Spring Garden jumped out to a 17-6 first quarter lead and held a 32-15 advantage at halftime. The Panthers led 44-22 after three quarters.
Spring Garden travels to Cedar Bluff on Thursday.
