ANNISTON – Coming off their Cherokee County Basketball Tournament championship win on Saturday, the Spring Garden Panthers posted a 50-39 victory at Faith Christian on Monday.

John Welsh led the Panthers with 18 points. Chapel Pope tossed in 10 points. Cole Bailey rang for nine points. Jake Welsh added six points and Henry Chaney finished with five points.

Eli Robinson led the Lions with 12 points. Conner Richerzhagen tallied 10 points. Carson Harris delivered seven points. Parker Robertson and Colton Reese both finished with five points.

Spring Garden led 13-11 at the end of the first quarter, but Faith Christian rallied to take a 27-24 advantage at halftime. The Panthers regained the lead in the third quarter at 37-31 and outscored the Lions 13-8 in the fourth quarter for the final.

Spring Garden travels to Coosa Christian on Tuesday.
