A Cherokee County woman was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck – that took place on Sunday afternoon.

According to Alabama State Trooper reports that wreck occurred at 3:15 and involved a Nissan Altima with the driver losing control of the vehicle – which came to rest on its side.  The female driver was transported from the scene on County Road 19 for treatment at a nearby hospital.
