You really don’t need a reason to eat pizza, because almost everyone loves pizza.

My family owned a restaurant in Lansing, Michigan for over 85 years. We specialized in excellent pizza. The sizes were 9, 12, and 16 inch pizzas. The restaurant was called DeMarco’s. It was founded by my grandparents and four families all were involved with the operation. It was a special place for many years. So, when I hear it’s National Pizza Week, I get a little sentimental.

There are excellent venues to get great pizza in Cherokee County. Families should get some pizza tonight or this weekend with the NFL Playoffs going on. It’s National Pizza Week, so enjoy!
