Changes in store at the U.S. Postal Service mean you will soon pay more to send a letter.
Starting Sunday, Jan. 21, the cost of a Forever Stamp – which can be used in perpetuity no matter future price changes – will go from 66 cents to 68 cents. The price of Forever Stamps last increased on July 9, 2023 when prices rose from 63 to 66 cents.
There will be no change to the price for an additional ounce per letter, which remains at 24 cents.
