The Spring Garden Lady Panthers continue to be ranked atop the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 1A girls basketball rankings. The latest poll was released early Thursday morning.
Joining the Lady Panthers in this week’s poll is Class 2A Sand Rock (16-6). The Lady Wildcats maintained their No. 8 ranking.
Class 4A Cherokee County (18-3) and Class 1A Cedar Bluff (14-8) received consideration.
On the boys’ side, Spring Garden (15-3) holds steady at No. 4. Class 2A Collinsville (14-7) dropped from last week’s top spot to No. 5. Class 3A Piedmont (12-7) continues to receive consideration.
