In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

TAYLOR TAPP – age 29 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Revoked Bond;

BEVERLY MAXWELL age 54 of Gadsden was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest;

STEPHEN COBB, age 48 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear – on the previous charges of Theft of Property 1st Degree;

FRANCES PENDERGRASS, age 59 of Acworth, Georgia, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department, on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

KATHY TOLLESON, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

J-ADDISON JOHNSON, age 21 of Piedmont – arrested by the Centre Police Department for Failure to Appear on a previous Speeding charge.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
