Two-Vehicle Crash in Floyd County, Georgia

One person was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle wreck on Martha Berry Highway in Rome on Tuesday.

According to Kelly Madden – Information Specialist with the Rome Police Department – that crash took place at around 5:00pm between the north entrance to Berry College and the Mt. Berry Mall and it involved a towing vehicle and a passenger vehicle.  A second person involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.

That accident closed the roadway for around an hour with the Armuchee Connector being used as a detour.
