This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

Saturday through Thursday.

There is a chance of wintry precipitation late Sunday night into Monday and again Monday night, mainly in the northern half of Central Alabama. Some minor accumulations across the north is possible along with some hazardous travel conditions through Tuesday morning.

A very cold air mass will move in Monday night. Lows below 20 degrees will be possible Monday night in the northwest and then all locations on Tuesday night. Wind chills may drop to – at – or below zero on Tuesday morning in northwestern portions of Central Alabama.

SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed

through sometime between Monday night and Tuesday night.
