In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

EMILY COWSER, age 24 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Domestic/Harassment/Family charges;

CHRISTINA MAYHEW, 28 of Collinsville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

LARRY BRANNON, 60 of Centre arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Disorderly Conduct;

CHRISTOPHER GIBBS – 31 from Leesburg – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

ILLYA HENDERSON, 57 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of Attempting to Elude and also Tampering with Evidence;

And

COURTNEY PACK, age 34 of Attalla, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft of Property 2nd Degree.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 82 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
