age 81, of Gaylesville passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13th at Randle Cemetery in Gaylesville.
Pallbearers will include Grandsons & Granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Patricia Watwood Steele, son Michael (Rhonda) Steele, daughters; Teresa (Jeff) Holcombe, Kim (Tim) Abernathy, Lala Stowe, mother; Margie Steele Marona, brothers; Johnny Steele, Robert Steele, grandchildren, Lindsey (David) Jennings, Taylor (Lexi) Abernathy, Justin (Sarah) Herrin, Ashleigh Steele, Dakota (Bre) Steele, Matthew (Savannah) Herrin, Levi (Morgan) Teague, Andrew Stowe, & Jacob Stowe, great-grandchildren; Jaden Herrin, Cadence Herrin, Lindian Teague, Calvin Teague, special niece; Denise Floyd.
Mr. Steele was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Ralph Lindian Steele. He was a lifetime member and head Deacon of Demaris Baptist Church and a retired employee of G.E.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
