In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

JUSTIN SMITH, 28 of Centre arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Failure to Appear/Driving while License Revoked;

MICHAEL PRIEST, age 38 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Alabama Pardons & Parole Board on a Probation Violation;

DYLAN EDWARDS, age 30 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office the on charges of Failure to Appear/Attempting to Elude – and also a Probation Violation;

JOSHUA BAILEY, age 25 from Piedmont arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

GEORGE MILLER, 30 from Leesburg was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
