One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident, taking place in Etowah County early Tuesday morning.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports, at approximately 8:30am, a female driving a 2016 Chevrolet lost control of the car in a downpour, on I-759, and crashed as a result. She was listed as a resident of Springville – and was reportedly transported to a nearby medical facility afterwards for treatment.
No additional information has thus far been released.
