In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

CHRISTOPHER DAWSON, 35 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of Failure to Appear/Driving While Suspended;

And

DEMARRIUS DIAMOND, age 18 of Centre, arrested on the charge of Grand Jury Indictment/Rape 2nd Degree.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
