The driver of an 18-Wheeler was rushed by ambulance for the treatment of injuries sustained in a late night accident Monday in Etowah County.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville – the truck crashed into a tree, after it left the roadway on Highway 278 just prior to midnight. The driver, identified as a male from the Southside area, was taken from the scene for treatment.
That accident currently remains under investigation by State Troopers.
